Yuzuki Reon et al., “Madame Guillotine”, The Scarlet Pimpernel.
Chie, I still can’t figure out what your voice is made of, but I like it.
Madame Guillotine is my favorite song from The Scarlet Pimpernel <3 Hnng Chie.
Chie’s voice is made of butter and velvet.
Chauvelin is still my favourite Chie role. THIS SCENE.
This was the show that made me fall in love with Chie. THAT VOICE.
So much unf.
I…..really need to find this and watch it.
To celebrate getting to see Meguri Ai wo Futatabi 2nd ~Star Bride~ next week, I decided to rewatch the original show. It reminded me of how good the staircase and pair dance from the show was, so I wanted to share it with all of you lovelies. Enjoy!
SEE, IT’S THIS TYPE OF MAN-GIRL I WOULD KILL TO BE. I may or may not have found myself wanting to do drag at some point of my life because of Takarazuka. All the gender bending!

The joy of Takarazuka right here, how one woman can embrace the masculine AND the feminine, without losing either.
It’s a beautiful thing, no?
I’m just going to put this here.
My favorite Takarazuka production of Elisabeth (1998 Soragumi comes in a verrrry close second, if only ‘cause of the weird shooting/editing on the DVD), and second favorite version of this dance.
My favorite version of this dance is still the Soragumi production, though Mizugumi does an admirable “unf”, as well.
